Job interviews are something that we have all had to do at one point in our life or another. Many people think that all you have to do is walk into a room, answer a few questions and that is it. Well, that isn’t quite true.
It’s More Than About The Job
In my career of over 30 years I have performed hundreds to interviews and in that time I am amazed how people will come into the interview late, not provide a nice printed resume’, or even not dress professionally, some have even Skyped an interview with their unmade bed in the background, looking like they just crawled out of it. These little things, things that may not seem related to the job you are interviewing for, are indeed part of the interview and must be focused on just as much as ensuring you are prepared to answer questions related to the job.
The other day I posted a short video on some tips to succeed in a job interview. If you are in the process of looking for a job, check this out for some quick pointers.
